I returned from Cartagena Colombia last week a little tired but extremely excited about the success of the Iasa World Summit. The event held in coordination with the University De Los Andes was a complete hit with over 250 enterprise architects, IT managers and CIOs. There was representation from government, academia and industry representing a huge percentage of engaged organizations in Colombia and Latin America. I would like to thank the University as well as Dario Correal and Gregorio Becerra for doing such an amazing job.

The lineup at the event was stellar and as I have stated before, the entire world is getting behind architecture as THE value management tool for technology investment. The event even featured a presentation from the Vice Minister of Technology for the Government. Very impressed with the governments organizational and citizen goals. We also had presentations from a host of international and regional thought leaders including John Zachman, Max Poliashenko, and Shrikant Palkar, plus many more. I cant wait to get back to our very exciting chapter in Bogota!

The presentations will be available in the repository soon.
