Business Architecture and TOGAF Alignment by Chalon Mullins

This presentation will provide an update on the collaboration between the Business Architecture Guild and the Open Group on enhancing and updating the business architecture relevant content in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).  The presentation will highlight the key changes in TOGAF.  It will also provide an update on what work has already been published, and what work is still on-going.
Chalon Mullins is an enterprise architect with experience in a wide range of industries, from manufacturing to financial services and health care. Throughout his career he has worked with a variety of organizations establish robust, comprehensive, and repeatable architectural practices.  To that end he has been active with a variety of standards and standards bodies, such as the Object Management Group and the World Wide Web Consortium.  He is currently working with the Business Architecture Guild on a number of activities, including developing a standard metamodel for business architecture, and a reference model for the health care provider industry.  He is also serving as the liaison from the Business Architecture Guild to the Object Management Group and the Open Group, with the goal of integrating industry best practices in business architecture into enterprise architecture standards.
