According to Daniel Pink we are shifting out of the information age into the conceptual age, or the age of the idea. To cope with this shift, a number of “new” disciplines have emerged and encroach on the domain of architecture. Has the architecture discipline lost ground in some of these areas? What are the strengths and weaknesses that we are seeing in the industry when it comes to design thinking, architecture thinking and agile thinking. Is there some middle ground that we can aim towards….a hybrid way of thinking. In a world of design and agile, do we even need architecture?
