The Swedish Computer Society and Iasa Global expand Partnership
IASA

Oct. 4, 2013AUSTIN, TexasThe second year into the partnership between Iasa and Dataföreningen Kompetens, a training subsidiary of the Swedish Computer Society, will broaden Iasa’s educational offerings to the Scandinavian IT Architect community.

During the first year of partnership Iasa’s Architect Core and Business Technology Strategy courses as well as CITA-F certification have been offered to Swedish (aspiring) architects.
The number of participants indicates that Iasa’s awareness in Sweden has strengthened through this partnership.
“Iasa Sweden believes the first year of partnership on the curriculum has increased the quality for Swedish IT architecture and we look forward to expanding our relationship in the future,” Said Daniel Akenine, Iasa Sweden Chapter President.
The collaboration between Iasa and the Swedish Computer Society started 7 years ago with organizing the annual ITARC (IT Architect Regional Conference) in Stockholm, Sweden. “Organizing the trainings and certifications was a natural next step,” Marie Ställvik Sandberg, who is CEO for Dataföreningen Kompetens.
“We are proud to continue our cooperation with Iasa, both globally and locally, in offering IT architects internationally renowned training and certifications,” Marie continues.
Iasa CITA-F certification is now successfully integrated in the Swedish local master certification training program that has been available since 1999.
Describing the plans for 2013/2014, Marie said: “For the second year of partnership, extending the offering to include the Iasa specialization courses and the CITA-A certification are planned. We look very much forward to our journey together in developing the market in Northern Europe.”
